Drizair has evolved into a highly specialized Drying Company from its initial beginnings of carpet cleaning and general cleaning since its beginnings in 1993.  Its founders Kaye Gough and John Egmanis, recognized the need for specialized water damage drying and fire damage cleaning and decontamination services in Northern Queensland.  Kaye and John introduced Restorative Drying to the Insurance Institute of Townsville in 1997, and consequently works closely with the Insurance Industry to this day throughout Northern Queensland.

In 2003, Drizair expanded its services to include Commercial Air Conditioning Duct Cleaning with new business partner Val Waskiewiscz.  Drizair Air System Cleaning provides its services to Government, Building Services Managers, Property Managers and Air Conditioning contractors involved in the maintenance of commercial property.
